Welding Services
Wrightweld Fabrications offers a variety of welding services to meet the individual needs of our customers.
These include:
TIG welding
Tungsten-electrode inert gas welding: a method of welding in which the arc is maintained by a tungsten electrode and shielded from the access of air by an inert gas. Suitable for aluminium and stainless steel.
ARC welding
Welding by means of the heat of an electric arc. Used mainly on site and outdoors.
MIG welding
Metal inert gas welding: a method of welding in which the filler metal wire supplies the electric current to maintain the arc, which is shielded from the access of air by an inert gas, usually argon. Suitable for workshop use and large amounts of manufacturing (both heavy and light steel fabrication).
Brazing:
Brazing is a metal-joining process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal into the joint, the filler metal having a lower melting point than the adjoining metal. Commonly used for joining motorbike and dirt buggy frames.
